Mortgage Approvals
House sales for November 2007 were 83,000 compared to 131,000 in November 2006 according to the Bank of England.
Remortgage approvals rose in November to 95,000. The increase for net lending on residential property was 7.8bn but still below the six month average.
The increase in consumer net credit was £1.1bn in November which was below Octobers figures but in line with the six month average.
