Landlord conference to address topical issues
A conference aimed at people who let residential property is set to be held by the National Federation of Residential Landlords (NFRL), the organisation announced.
Issues and regulations pertinent to landlords, such as the Housing Act and other recent legislation, will be discussed at the annual conference at the Ramada Hotel & Resort in Sutton Coldfield on June 28th and 29th.
Featured events include workshops about the tenancy deposit scheme, licensing, energy efficiency, inventories and tax issues.
There will also be practical advice on offer from experts in the sector regarding maximising profits, enhancing property portfolios and avoiding potential common pitfalls as a landlord.
Discussion and debate among attendees will be encouraged, as will networking opportunities.
Barry Markham, chair of the NFRL, commented: "This is a key calendar event for our members and other UK landlords, where knowledgeable advisors are on hand to give advice on every aspect of this business, from updates on new legislation to advice on how to maximise profit as a landlord.
"It promises to be both an informative and rewarding event."
The NFRL is a not-for-profit organisation representing residential landlords across Britain.
